hi I have just changed my headlight bulbs and relized how scratched up they are any one got any ideas how to remove some of the scratches and make them shine again.

I cannot offer a solution, I can only offer sympathy as mine are exactly the same - completely scratched to bits.

What i have done for light scratched / misty glass (where it looks dirty, but it is not) before is polishing using tooth paste and a soft rag. worked nicely (but takes time), and left them minty fresh to! :D

My old man suggested brasso on a bit of cardboard would remove the scratches but may also take the shine off as well.

Baz, if you know anyone with a machine polisher you can mop them back up AFAIK. Have a look on detailing world for more info. Best get some of those funky looking protectors once you've sorted it though.
