I hope that is not Battersby plantation as this was supposed to have been repaired last month by the Forrestry commission.

Wow ... how did you manage that ? Looks as though the damage is minimal though.

I saw this on my phone this morning less than a minute after you posted it and thought you were trying to avoid the ruts for that reason and perhaps drove too far to the left up the side slope.

I hope you get your car fixed up ok, however, I have to say that if you are on a lane and think you are going to get stuck in the ruts - perhaps you shouldn't be on the lane?

This is what get's us a bad name and that lane looks like it's in a real mess.

Right, been in touch with the North Yorks GLASS Rep (Paul Blagden) about the state of this lane, It was trashed by the forrestry mob but they promised NYCC that it would be put back to a decent state when they finished. Paul is going to contact NYCC and play holy hell !!!!

Battersby has been rutted like that for a few weeks since the snow. I've tried it a few times but couldnt get through.

my dad just winched it back over. its a shame the state of it as it was a very good lane, hopefully they will put it right and it dries out a bit in summer.
