The radio was literally plug and play. The harnesses that Seicane supplied make connecting it really easy. The hardest (and longest) effort was running the video cable for the reverse camera which most people will likely consider unnecessary. The vision around the Jimny is really excellent and I only added the camera due to the children that are around.

I haven't added to this post for a while. I am getting the expedition rails for my roof rack (finally) at the end of this week and I wanted to wait and show that along with the latest bits and pieces. As I have already replied to a post about steering stabilizers, decided that I should do an update now.
When I first purchased my Tough Dog stabilizer, I wasn't able to mount it properly due to their design (brackets) being for right hand drive. The first thing I did was modify the link bracket.
The original:
The modified:
The next was the Rail bracket.
My new design was supposed to place the damper in the correct position (away from the drag link).
It didn't work.
Next step…..a weld-in bracket:
Looking better.
All mounted:
That is what I wanted all along. I mentioned in another post that, due to the required mods, I wouldn’t replace this with another. What I actually meant to say is that, if I had to do it again, I would choose another brand. I don’t think anyone with a right hand drive would have issues.

The next thing I did was something I hadn't even planned doing to the Jimny......but plans change. I'm not a fan of water crossing but several weeks ago this happened:
This is a picture taken from the local news. In our case, the water issue was a little worse. The flooding on the road leading to our house would have easily come up to the Jimny headlights and covered about 30 to 40 meters of road. Luckily I wasn't in the Jimny. That experience (the first in my 4 years of living in the Philippines) made me decide it was snorkel and breather time.
I have to admit that when I was watching the shop take the first steps in prepping for the snorkel, people could hear the ice slush start to form in my bladder. Maybe that's just me. Here is the beginning:
That is the only snorkel picture that I took worth posting. The shop's pictures were better.
Here is one with snorkel installed:
And, of course, the breather:
I should be posting the pics of the rails for my rack soon. Hopefully I can finally then do my suspension and post.
