Hi Guys,

Sorry this has went quite, was away working then moving house but over Christmas I finally got the finger out and got a load done to it.

Shocks and springs fitted (2' Lift), extended brake hoses, anti roll bar removed, bumper and front wings cut then it was time to go out to play!

This was how it looked when done

And this was it doing its first RTV on New Years Day

Really pleased with it. It will go anywhere and handled the stages really really well.

Want to make some new rubber inner guards that extend out past the wings, fabricate a front bumper of some sort and fabricate some guards for underneath. Just clearing space in the garage so the work can commence!

cheers. yea the bumper chop was to try and stop it getting broken while off roading, it didnt work! Ive a big crack up it already.

Yea its a trial style for road taxed vehicles, supposed to be less aggressive but you can still make a right mess! Was a good day out.

I have been toying with the idea of either a 2" or 3" lift for my Jimny as I want to use 235/75 or 30x9.5 tyres. How is the articulation and clearance with the 2" lift and the 235/75 tyres?

Looks good and like you have been having fun!

What make are the tyres and have you had any rubbing issues with only a 2" lift?

The grip these style of tyre provide over normal MT's is massive. I was so impressed when I put my Malatesta Kaimans on. Just be careful with the CV's though as I blew one on 215/80/15's and yours are slightly bigger.
