Started today got old engine out and doors and that lot off ready to lift shell of and do all welding and finsh the pick up part what I startexnearly a year ago then left it will be uploding some pics soon of it chaging as work goes on just wwondering what axles to put on it I have a set of fourtrak f70 axles how hrd its it to convert them for coils instead of leafs

shouldnt be to hard just de bracket the axle and fab up the new brackets guess you could even sacrice the jimny case and save the jimny brackets just be a bit carfull about geometry of the axles when you refit and weld the brackets can get a bit complicated

Some more pics here from whats been getting done last few Saturdays





Started to plate back of cab up.


Got rest of back plated up. Cut old floor out znd welded new peice in and I had some steel bent for archers so cut old ones out I put in before.i have aslo cut a goodbit of chassis to so that tnere is no over hang on the rear end andi have hopefully left the floor far enogh back so I weld so big box section in between chassis and get a whinch on there .
