It is so much fun! I will definatly have a strip down and clean lubrication of everything when I get a free day. Got some time off over Xmas so will give it a good going over. Yeh I've got a breather kit on it :)

Winch and ora bracket turned up today :) gotta get my battery sorted then get it on there, hopefully before we get any snow.

Also went out tonight with my mate in his vitara. Really tested the jimnys articulation in deep ditches/holes didn't get any pics as it was too dark, but did find out why a locker is necessary. My mates vit has a welded diff, it eased over bits the jimny struggled on. Still mightily impressed with what the jimny does with just a lift and some tyres.

What's the max current draw on a standard jimny electrical system. I'm looking to relocate the battery and trying to work out what size cable will be required.

Got my battery sorted in the end I relocated it to the other side of the bay using a separate battery tray and extending the cable.

Winch is all fitted and gave it a test today, got me out of trouble so I'm happy as a fat kid in a sweet shop.

There was a few other jimnys there today but the suzukis where out in force, plenty of SJs and vitaras. Me and a little sj managed to rescue a vitara that had fallen sideways down a ditch and got himself into a right pickle, shame I didn't get many pics :( the little guys gotta look out for each other you know ;)

Been a while since I've posted, but I've got the jimny all cleaned up for the summer, got my rear seats back in and am generally going to keep it nice til the mud comes back.

Sonus paint restore, a gradients polish and ag high def wax, and I'm pretty pleased how it came out. It suprised me how many of the scratches came out.

I've got a few mods planned for next winter but for now I'm just going to keep it going since it's fixed at the moment, all my bearings have been changed and the rear shoes are free of mud lol
