Love it. I wonder what my neighbours would think of me installing one in my back yard.

Our road only has drives on our side, I have a T reg Micra to knock about in and the Mrs has a 325i, always kept off the road unless I want to work on the Jimjam at the end of the drive. Even then I put the cars back on the drive by 16:45 for people to park when they get in from work.
One family on the side with no drive have 2 cars and glare at me and shake their heads when there is nowhere for them to park.
My mate across the road recently bought a Vitara for shooting, which I'll be helping him mod. These moaners complained to his wife about me having another car for ages over the fence and had to back pedal when she told them it was his.
Neighbours can tick me off. Especially when I paid about £20k more for my house due to it having a drive and garage and I pay 3 lots of car tax for them not to spend much time on the road.
If only they'd say something to me, I have both barrels loaded and the safety catch is off! Metaphorically speaking of course!
If our third car was a classic, I doubt we'd get it as you say. Maybe I should have a Series LR?

I work in the trade and get my secondhand stuff from them.
This has just given me ideas! And I know of a few 2 post lifts going cheap! I don't think my neighbours will like me though!
you could use one to lift the garage roof up so you can get the jimny in !!
haha:laugh:
Wish I could get in myself! Always seem to be storing stuff for others  . I'd rather keep my jimny on my front garden so I can admire it , while my neighbours hate it.

In France I saw a house which had a two post lift on the drive out front. One car parked on top and another underneath - I thought it was a good idea! Then in the same road saw a couple of others so maybe it's common in areas with parking problems?
