Can I just say that the latest [strike]Top Gear[/strike][strike][/strike] The Grand Tour is about the best one I've ever seen. I only fast forwarded 5 minutes- the bit where 16 year olds are doing doughnuts in a carpark.

Even "Z lister you've not heard of in a car" has got better!

"the terrorists are in the room behind me"
"how do you know?"

"they are .........doing things to me"

Pure class.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Complete agreement here. Far superior to the lame bbc follow up.

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
Pavement princess or back road menace?
Bellerophon (2024 grello van daily)
ADORJ Attention Deficit Ooooh Race Jimny!

Each to his own I suppose, I thought it was brilliant: jokes that offend foreigners, the Z-lister gets killed so we don't have to fast forward through the interview*, the three of them indulge the sort of fantasies that we have, and show pretty much how we oldsters would fare.

Episode 1 was poor I felt, as usual for an episode #1 they spend 10 minutes showing you the absolutely fantastic things that won't be in this episode, and I can't remember any of it apart from some vague idea of a test of high powered milk floats, but James's didn't work properly.

*with old Top Gear I used to go to the toilet or make a cup of tea or something, and then watch it 10 minutes delayed so that I could fast forward anything really boring like "z-lister you have never heard of drives a car"

I don't have Amazon stick or prime beef so I'll have to wait till it is bought by ITV or Sky or get it on DVD next year.
