Yesterday I finally maned up and went to the doctors to have a lump on my bits examined. I am lucky as it is only a sebaceous cyst and nothing to worry about. This may not be the case for everyone. Don't be a fool don't ignore anything lumpy, do the sensible thing and get proper medical advice. I know it's not something that everyone is happy to talk about but please please look out for your health.

Well done good call :)
I was the same about a year ago booked an appointment and yeah that 5 minutes of embarrassment isn't great but worth knowing either way no point waiting weeks wondering if there is something wrong just get it done :woohoo:

The way I see it, is it better to be embarrassed for a few minutes or dead, killed by your own nuts? I know what I prefer.

Been there and done this myself....scary as hell and yes, a trifle embarrassing for a few mins, but by God it sure does help you sleep at night when it turns out to be nothing contentious :)

For my 55th birthday present, the NHS invited me to have bowel cancer screening.

The one where they shove a camera right up where you think :pinch:

Appointment is next Thursday, and I'll probably know the nurse that does it too (Sod's Law).

Not looking forwards to it :S

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
