Do most garages have insurance to cover damage to cars in their care?

It's a white car but up both sides were black as it was so dirty- I didn't notice it and tbh I really don't think he did either. I see him most days at work and he's a cracking bloke so I'm pretty sure he would have owned up to it.

I have had a few instances with crushed weld seams and always it is because some ********* has used a pillar lift.
Getting back to the Citroen they paid for the repair but I did spot it within minutes after collecting the vehicle.
I'd love a little modern Fiat 500.

All booked in for next weekend though and he confirmed today he will cover it.
It's a genuine mistake so I'll happily continue to use him- his work otherwise is spot on!

She's a 26 year old girl...... Least it's not a Ka!! As far as girls cars go its spot on, 45mpg, ã30 tax and pleasant enough to drive.
My mechanic mate came straight back to me and has agreed to cover the damage in full. Problem solved anyway which is good!
The fiat 500 is exactly a ka lol just the ka sits lower on the suspension other than that they are the same cars

1 you need to stop calling him a mechanic (any normal person would not attempt to jack a car if unsure of the jacking point,2 minutes to look in a manual or check on the web (
2 you need to stop calling him a mate ( that is clear visible damage, he would of felt it go when jacking and clearly of been aware of it when removing the jack if not while working on the car) yet he was happy to hand it back in the hope you wouldn't notice.
