question for the mechanics was created by nicho
missis fusion 1.4 tdci ,new cluch 18 month ago some days fine some days cluch slips, had to top up brake fluid 2 or 3 week ago light came on dash. seen i tiny bit of oil or sumet on drive last week,shes just sead lights just came on going round a round about,so must be a leak sumwere wot i want to no is will this cause cluch to slip being a hidrolic one as i think its the same fluid. i no it aint jimny but saves time singnin up to a ford forum when people on hear are realy helpfull n frendly ta.thought about d mass fly wheel but no vibration.

Chances are when they changed the clutch they clamped a rubber hose and either collaspsed the wall or split it , most hydro clutches have mainly copper pipes then a small rubber joiner

Do you no if the slave cylinder is part of the release bearing if so was it changed it could be leaking fluid inside the bell housing and may get onto the clutch

would it leek from the gearbox then, just parked it on drive n guna see if there is any drips tomorow night.

If the pipe had split the clutch pedel would stay on the floor as there would be no pressure to return it and if it was collaspsed it would stay disengaged
