I've been using a bullbag jack for years and swear by them. Perfect in sand, water, mud and rocks. Mine is about 6 yo now and still good as gold, 600mm lift and inflates so quickly. Just push the funnel onto the exhaust!
Like this one but different brand...

Hey Goat, I believe the airbag jacks are available in the UK. Here they cost about $75 600mm lift, $120 750mm lift. Their wide base makes for stable lifting even in mud and sand. They come with a strong flexible pad for putting underneath and another pad to go on top to take care of sharp metal or bolts in the bodywork. As I said, I've had mine for years and to inflate you just push the connector over the exhaust pipe. A valve gives you control over deflation.
