fusion 1.4tdci help please

long shot i know but my girlfrend was nealy home from work when she set of from junction in first and noticed it was a bit slower then went into second and it slowed right down, no power slowly sped up got home n rang me to come out n see what was up with it she had it still tiking over it sounded fine,it turned it off n checked oil n it was fine didt wnt to start it again untill i had a idea what was up with it,hope this makes sence as i was asleep when she rang.thanks for any advice or info ta

Long shot, could the car have gone into limp home mode through a over boosting turbo or similar?

Sounds very much like limp mode
Chexk the pipes on the turbo may be a split that will do just as you describe

ta for the help a pipe had jumped off.another fix thanks to big jimny.
