STOLEN - Cocker Spaniel puppy was created by DVs-Jimny

Wednesday 15th August 2012

Ellie is a 5 month old bitch English Cocker Spaniel, golden colour with slightly white chest.

Was stolen from my garden between 1330 and 1630hrs from Glinton in Cambridgeshire.

It is believed that person(s) unknown climbed a 6ft6 side gate and then released the three bolts enabling access to the garden.

Ellie has been chipped and has not been spayed. She was wearing a coyote brown (tan) nylon collar with a "Wainrights, Dogs best Friend" label. She is very timid and teething.

Police have been advised, as have local vets, dog warden, doglost.co.uk and adds have been added to Gumtree etc.

"Travellers" were reported as nosing in peoples gardens on the day of her loss. Please try and spread the word. My wheelchair bound wife and our son are distraught.

Thank you
Allan

What an awful thing to happen, I hope you get her back soon. Taking dogs from back gardens is quite common everywhere these days I'm afraid.

Try the local and not so local dog pounds. From the experiences of others, when a lost dog is brought in they don't inform anyone, even if the dog is chipped.

You may find that she turns up when the person who has unwittingly bought her takes her to the vet for chipping and there is already a chip there, can be heartbreaking for the new "owner" too.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Hope you fined her mate ;) . Better still i hope you find the w*****s who took her. People who steal loved family pets are the lowest form of cowardly scum to walk the earth  .

All the best ;)
