Don't know if catching the driver will help in anyway. Laws here are quite lenient at the moment, it's very rare to go to jail even if you kill some one with your vehicle. Even if you're drunk and kill some one with your vehicle. And so on I'm much more interested in getting back the money for the bike, equipment and surgery (as the plate will remain in my arm forever it seems, since it's too close to a major nerve in the arm and surgery is risky now; why didn't they think of that when it was installed, don't know).

He stayed until the police arrived; witnesses told me he was laughing after the accident. While this might have been caused by panic/shock, the fact he didn't even visited me in the hospital or called to see if I lived tells a lot about the lack of moral fiber in today's common Joe. Oh well

Feel sorry for the poor sod that was on this but at least the car driver wouldn't have walked away like they usually do :woohoo:
