Sell your bits!
NOTE: This is for members and their private sales/wants.
There are rules that suppliers have to follow (and many of you do follow the rules). However there have been a number of instances recently where "suppliers" have broken the rules.
Suppliers/Dealers or anyone selling with a commercial view in mind CANNOT post here unless responding to a specific request of a member in a "wanted" post.
Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum

Dear Big Jimny,
We're selling my mother in laws car due to a recent upgrade. It's a 2004 Jimny 02 which was purchased and owned by her, from new. She's only done 19750 miles!
The car is mechanically perfect and cosmetically 95%: She reversed into something and cracked the rear bumper. I'm sure this can be easily repaired, it's even something we're thinking of doing to help sell it.
We're not sure exactly what price to put on its head just now, we haven't found another which such low mileage to compare. Therefore we're open to offers from this forum.
The car is located near Notts/Derby.
Any advice or preferably a strong offer would be great.
Thanks, Matthew. 07591143388.

Mind is 2003 with 23000 miles from new, but not a direct comparison

Post up a few pictures if you get a chance! Be good to get a quick scan of the car.

Just because a question remains unanswered on a forum doesn't mean no one is interested , it is because it is about a pricing structure .....this is always subjective
However in the last year I bought 3x Jimnys of very similar vintage .
1 is a54 plate hard top 105000miles in very faded red with 12 months ticket £1500
2.is a 03 plate cabrio 106000 miles again 12 months ticket and tow bar , reasonable condition £1700
3 a 54 plate cabrio but with hard top conversion , 86000 miles 12 months ticket ,, tow bar , really tidy ..£1700
So £1995 ish could be a reasonable assumption , some people see low milage as clogged cats... Though this is subjective !
A few pictures etc would help , but any vehicle is only worth what someone is willing to pay,
Hope this I helpful

Here are some images, though we haven't cleaned the car yet!
We've just fitted new roof section to the centre and back. Mot is being done in a few days too so 12 months will be on it.
