I plan to sell my Jimny because I'm not using it as much as I had expected (it's a second car for me). Thought I'd put it on here first before listing on Autotrader. If you're interested or know anyone who is please let me know.
It's a white SZ4 registered in January 2019 with 1200 miles and a few upgrades:
Dotz Dakar 15x6" steel wheels
General grabber AT3 215/75r15 tyres
Rear window tints - dark smoke
Boot storage box (the one that is standard on the SZ5)
I realise the price I'm asking is above list price but it is still one of the cheapest jimnys available - most others on autotrader/eBay are over £20k - so don't think I'm being unreasonable.
Number plate will be removed before sale. Any questions please ask.
Thanks

I'd 17-19k is a more realistic price for them. Good luck with your sale, I'd love one but I've to save for a deposit next.
Bob1050 wrote: 6 months old and 1500 miles on the clock suggests you really haven't had much use or fun out of it. Can understand why you have decided to move the Jimny on. Looks like residual values are strong and I hope they stay that way for all of us.
This all happened when the new Mini was released in the 2000s, another car appealing to a retro style and market. Lets not kid ourselves, the styling is deliberate, after the success of the Fiat 500 and Minis.
The residuals were really strong for about 2-3 years when the new Mini was released until the market stabilised and there was run of the mill trade ins appearing on the second hand market.

I was originally looking at gen3 jimnys when I bought mine but couldn't find any tidy ones. I'll possibly look to pick one up again in a couple of months time.

I've dropped the price slightly to £17k so it's now pretty much what I've spent including the extras I've added. Would be willing to accept an offer of around £16.5 but not planning to go any lower than that. I'm not desperate to sell and happy to keep it for another winter if it doesn't sell
Glad I didn't buy one to just profiteer....
