Thanks, I have deliberately kept the moderation low as that can kill a forum as well.

I will attempt a low level of moderation to ensure the general principle of each section is kept.

With regard to the more moderation, yes it can very eaasily kill a forum and has done to many however so can spammers.
Perhaps for spammers ( like me ) an "off topic" topic (lol) could be made for general discussions?
for instance, tonight Im making wine and beer....perhaps others might like to do the same and ask how, or for queries about other vehicles etc - just a thought :)

just following on from earlier posts, not sure its the whether or interest in 4x4's bringing interest
other 4x4 forums are all down on traffic despite the weather n that
diffl**k is down 40%
d***n4x4 is down 20%
4*4uk.org is down 60% on traffic
the local trials clubs (x3) here in the north east have all seen a reduction in entrants
the fact that this forum is not over moderated and remains very friendly is certainly a refreshing change, i also reckon that jimnys are going to have their day very soon, seem to be getting very popular as prices drop :) :)

I've left off commentinguntil I'd used the new site for a while and I think it's briliant Martin. I don't pretend to know half of what you lot have been talking about on the technical stuff but it all sounds good!

I'm glad about the increased use of the forum and I think it has been easy to see for those of us that have been on here a while.

My local club site has had many comments about it being so quiet too, so for this forum to be in such fine health in the financial climate we are in, when many can't afford a hobby, let alone and expensive one like ours, I think it's great!

I agree that the Jimny is soon to have it's day! Landrovers are expensive to buy in the first place and SJ's are really running low on the ground now, so Jimny's and Vits have to be due some popularity!

So here's to another good year on BigJimny and another good year for the Jimny!
