Website enhancement
You will not need to have web skills as the blogging software takes care of the pictures and formatting.
Also you will be able to post from your favourite tool, rather than learn a new one e.g.
- Microsoft Word: Recent versions have BUILT IN blogging capability and can publish directly to this site! Just write an article and click on the publish button in Word.
- Twitter: Post a comment to your Twitter account and it will appear here automatically
- Facebook: Post a comment to your Facebook account and it will appear here automatically
- Email: Write an email (including pictures) and send it to this website and it will appear here automatically
- Direct: Use the built-in utilities on this website to create your own posting with pictures, videos etc.
There is (allegedly) an iPhone app that will also post direct to the site, but I use Android (which is not supported) so I have no idea if the iPhone version is any good.
Whilst the initial implementation is happening you may see some strange formatting on the website but be assured it will be sorted. The forum will remain unaffected.
If you think you could be a "blogger" then let me know.

I am happy to move my posts so far over by hand as there are only a few.

I'm about to make a 'massive’ leap into the unknown called ‘Windows 7’ from XP :woohoo: if I reach the other side I’ll be interested to see how this works out ......

When you are logged in your view of the website should have changed
Don't post yet as I am still playing.
Everyone's front page will have changed, but yours will have extra tools.

2. I have not written the instructions yet, so you are on your own! (But I will edit and tidy up any mistakes!)

You need me to enable you, which I have just done.
A new section of the forum should now have appeared for you with instructions etc
