Hi,
I know there are several posts on this subject but I can't seem to find all the info I want (Car is 2007). My 2 button remote key starts the car fine but has stopped working the locks & I think the pcb may have failed as I've tried new battery, cleaned & checked the switches etc. but it's not working. I have been told the key (transmitter) is almost always at fault rather than the receiver in the car. It this true?
Pcbs or complete keys are available from China but I am not sure which is the correct type. The 2 button keys for sale seem to have a different pcb to mine, also usually recommended for other models (Grand Vitara, Swift, Ignis, etc) though I guess it could be an equivalent....? Does anyone know the spec (operating frequency) & a reliable source? Any help/info appreciated.

I have used a chap on another car website(Peugeot) who owns a shop doing just that, fixing car keys. I have had him fix two for a pug and one for my Astra. If you want his details just PM me. His shop is in Bradford but I just sent mine by recorded post. Fast turnround too.

Thanks PM sent.
I'm still keen to get any further info on this though. Has anyone bought a replacement key (not from Suzuki) & used it successfully to operate the locking?
