I think this may be beyond glue and gaffer tape? getting a stronger one made this week!!

what im noticing now as over time they are getting so brittle, i just swapped one that fell apart just by undoing the nuts on the rubber bushes!

to be fair I wasn't driving it that hard, bit of wheel spin on mud, the rear wheels gripped and bang went the mount!
will replace the other one shortly before that one gives up

That's strange, I've never broken that side, I've broken the other side three times, now I've got is strapped with a length of metal bar.

On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.

I'm having a new mount made locally from steel (mates rates)
The rubber mounts were in good nick so I'm thinking they may have been replaced recently but too late and the mount was already stressed, I've not done a lot of miles in the Jimny since purchase when it was standard.

Our car 99 Jimny was not used off road and broke that bit at eight years old. Just corrosion.
