what have you guys done with the seal on the door where the bracket goes

and have you got any tips on drilling the hole as have not got hole saw :-( lol

I used nail polish for cleaning up the painted edges, keeps the water out from under the paint.

We used a hole saw:

I used a drill for the holes, just drilled a lot and then used a file to smooth them up and cold gal to re-seal the galvanised body...

no the piller bracket that holds the snorkel the seal on the door has to sit on that will water go in there guys

Ah, my snorkel doesn't use a bracket to affix itself to the door pillar. It has a recess to fit neatly into the pillar and a bead of silicone to retain it to the pillar, so no drilling, no getting under rubber seals and the bead would break away before damaging the pillar/seal and silicone holds very strongly but has that bit of give and take! You have to use silicone to seal the connection to airbox and plug the drain hole so no additional cost either.

I have the pillar bracket and mine doesnt seem to leak, the door must just seal around the bracket itself
