my driver sides spring hits chassis was created by suzuki jimny fella

hi guys has anyone had this problem on there jimjam its when you flex it bows a bit an catch's the chassis as there is a bit of folded steel there has any one got that on there jimnys

has any one got pics of there spings on flex do they bow

got caster corrected arms i think panhard bushes are gone will try and get pics

Hi mate Im not sure if mines doing the same but there is a problem when I go over a bump or as you say when the springs flex it makes a loud noise like a spring hitting something so im not thinking thinking the same.Have you got any marks where you think its hitting??

yes there are marks there mate and when i drop in to boom holes or similar thing it make a noise what you guys recon

are the coils suppose to bow a bit when under compression on flex

I have welded some steel blocks together to mount onto the axle where the rubber bumpstops normally touch to limit the spring travel.

have you got pics what lift have you got mate there is some thing welded to the chassis only on drivers side and thats what my coil hits

mysers647 do your spring hit chassis is there marks there and how much bow is in your spring

I dont know mate where or what exactly is making the noise but it sounds like the spring on the drivers side I will have a look tomorrow if there is any marks. The springs will ow when they flex definatly.
