Back to the original topic, don't buy the cheapest flairing tool, I did and it'd be a difficult getting good flairs every time if you've not done it before, buy a decent one it'll be easier and cheaper in the long run.
John.

On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.

I'll quote you though ;)

myers647 wrote: Hi mate dont quote me on this but I think I have read some where that the Jimny male and female ends on the break pipes are specific to the Jimny not a generic size just check before you order any?????

The threads on the male ends go all the way to the flare, and the female parts are shallow.
The standard UK ones have no threads on the last 5mm, and they won't screw into the fittings on the jimny.

(Guess how I know  )
You have to reuse the old ones.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
