Are you sure it's not your CVs clicking. How loud is it? Can you feel it through the car too?

Could it be the tyres catching the arches/inner arch liners that would give a clicking noise

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO ITS NOT!

been thinking since last post i was thinking if it was the cv's they would click/cluk all the time but now not sure as it would put more load on cv's when freewheeling hubs are locked so maybe why it dont click/cluk when they are in freewheel am i thinking right

o and plz no more silly things like tyres rubbing i could have a party in my arches im not a complete idiot lol

sounds like a cv joint to me

it will mostly click in 4wd on lock, not in 2wd, and not usually in a straight line unless its completely buggered and then you'll notice less lock one one direction

I have used reco-prop in Luton to rebuild CVs for me. However I have only used them to rebuild to standard spec, not hd.

o and plz no more silly things like tyres rubbing i could have a party in my arches im not a complete idiot lol

And please be careful with your answers to people who have offered answers to you in good faith. It is perfectly possible to have loads of room under your arches and still have tyre rub, mine do.

Especially if a wheel arch liner happens to be a bit adrift like mine was. :(
