Well after more or less getting my Jimny together I took it around the block. I'm afraid to say it drove like a bag of poo Just generally very rough, glitchy, noisy and very agricultural, like a tractor. In view of the mods ive done is this to be expected?
Thinking about taking it over to my local garage who services the beemer and asking for their expert opinion on the safety/competency of my build and any mistakes I may have made

Drives like a boat as in good or not good?
I dont have one of those shock relocator jobbies, interested in them but financially challenged at the moment
My standard tyres would look likea pea on a drum

ours is not the nicest drive on road 
has 5" lift, special tracks, rock lobster etc
it rattles, vibrates, creaks, clunks and clangs, rolls on bends ( no anti roll bars)
oh and its slow and noisy 
but get it off road and its ace
talking to our local 4x4 specialist he has a simple mantra - if its good offroad it will be sh*t on road and he's owned all sorts of modified 4x4s including SJs, defenders and even an Ibex
so don't worry - just enjoy it off road and drive slowly on road
