looks like it's time to replace the tyres on the wife's 2011 3d GV 2.4

the original 225/65R17 OEM Duelers are perishing/cracking in-between the outer treads :pinch:

leaning towards the new BF Goodrich Urban Terrain T/A see here as they look pretty good.

just wondering if anyone has used them on anything and is able to give feedback

many thanks
Hal

Not used them but have plenty of experience of other BFG products. I would think they are a safe bet.
Last set of BFG's I had did 50,000 miles and still worked well even when the tread was low. B)

Tyre choice depends entirely on vehicle use. If it is simply a bitumen road vehicle then the tyres mentioned would be adequate. If you off-road though, they will not cut the mustard.

I use Yokohama Geolandar tyres these days, have a look here... www.yokohama.com.au/Tyres/Geolandar-ATS.aspx Good range of sizes and excellent off-road/on road ability. Very effective over wet grass too, which is where many dual-purpose tyres let you down.

I have the urban terrain on my Jimny and they are epic. Probably not more than 2k miles on but no wear at all. Grip like glue in all conditions apart from axle deep mud but even then that's not for lack of trying.

One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.
