So the brakes on my 04' 3door GV aren't as good as I'd want them to be, I'm thinking about an upgrade. I may just replace the fluid in the system and see if that makes a difference - I'm sure it's never been changed since the car rolled off the assembly line.

My questions are - has anyone upgraded the brakes on their GV? Does the 5Door V6 have a different brake setup than the 3door 1600? - if it does I'm assuming that would be a good swap.

If not - I was thinking about picking these up... Any thoughts?

The GV 2000 and V6 have bigger brakes that's why they have bigger offset wheels to clear the callipers. I always found the brakes were very sharp on my 5door gv2000

Assuming the brakes were good once upon a time, I'm sure it's just a case of finding the tired bits and replacing them. Slotted and drilled discs don't improve braking power or feel. Sick with solid.
