They are truly powerful head lights.

Now all you've got to do is stop them turning on and off every time you drive through the shadow of a tree/building/bus stop/...

My Yeti had Xenon headlights, which i thought were excellent.

The Gen4 Jimny LED's are far better, IMO.

Overpasses are causing me a headache. There’s a few on the new AWPR near me in a single stretch - folks must think I’m flashing them :/ Wonder if you can adjust their sensitivity? I’ve also noticed they don’t really cut in until it’s pretty dark outside, I see 90% of cars driving with their headlights on and mine are still off in ‘auto’ mode.

Yep, a veritable PIA, for sure, Bill. That and the slow response back to high beam after auto dipping, which is quite exciting on dark country roads.

I'm not a fan of auto this and that, partly for the reasons described. I'm one of the old folk that still operate aspects of the vehicle according to my observation of the need. Avoids all this unnecessary hassle of them not operating correctly or momentarily.

Go old school, it's the future ;)

some degree of automation is necessary to try and overcome the lack of intelligence of the typical driver, although sometimes it has the reverse effect.

The number of people that think that driving in foggy conditions with only their modern DRLs on "because the automatic lights will come on if I need them" totally ignoring the fact that they've got no rear lights on at all and that the other idiot driving up behind them at speed won't see them until he hits them.
