Hi everyone,

First post here... I have a 2006 Jimny JX with 260tkm(or 161000 miles).

Jimny's cost like crazy in Finland so decided to be a brave person and purchased one with quite a high mileage. Only rust in trunk area, might need some welding at some point.
Really like how simple the car is, no power steering, AC, power windows, ABS, central locking..or anything. There is a radio(not original).
Nice to be able to some maintenance yourself.

I had some engine issues with the car around one month ago. That was solved with a new lambda, simple car and a simple fix.

Also annoying issue with water getting inside the car. We will see if this finding was the cause:

Luckily the car is so easy to take apart...

Still have to solve some issues with "death wobble". Not too serious but it would be nice to get rid of it.

All cars should come with unpainted fenders! Does not hurt so much to get some hits ;)

Thats an advantage here. You don't get stuck in the ruts that the Landrovers make. :)

You can try to lower the tire pressure. At least down to 1 bar when driving in deep snow. Refill again before doing more than 60kmt on highway. Stronger off road tires can handle even lower pressure. The risk of damage or puncture increase of course.
