what year is yours ? i will try find out the origianal trye size for that year then i can see if they the same size as my standards. thanks for your help aswell

its a 51 plate. Just did a quick search and they were 205/70/15. I'm a believer that the thin tall tyre is better in the mud as it cuts through to the wirm stuff, where as a wide tyre will sit on top

i agree if you look am my brand new jimny post and look at the tyres on my frontera they were tall and thin and were great off road and they gave the car an inch and half lift and was still space under the arches and they were 31"

Another thing to consider is cost, I paid £100 for 5 nearly new tyres on wheels. Ebay has a few 195's for less than £200 a set new. Next size up starts creaping into the £200+ price range.

the best tyre prices i think are from sowden tyre i could get 4 of the tyres that were on
