Many thanks Renard - I was off roading with some French friends around the Besseges/Genholac/Chamborigaud region Thursday through Sunday. Good fun - 3 Samurais, 1 Jimny and various Toyotas! The Jimny and one of the Samurais had been modified by Measson and although I knew of him and his products I was interested to see the complete range of his products. I was using my Samurai and it went perfectly as usual!

so did it make it up any of those muddy slopes? Your jimny certainly gets a lot of use!

not being funny but you never give a chance to get any momentum...you start trying to move on the hile and on an angle meaning even less grip. if you give it a little momentum by reversing a few meters further back you will get up no problem rather than staying on the same slope for sometimes 3 minutes at a time. just a suggestion
