You've done well - as long as it's not full of rust - all those bits are expensive!!! Looks like it had a Warn 8274 on the front given the cut out on the bonnet and the sticker!
That would have been as powewrful as the engine! It could have dragged it's self about rather than driven!
When you get a winch, have a measure up width wise as it looks like your bumper requires the winch to sit between the chassis rails rather than on them and winches with external brakes may not fit! My Superwinch doesn't and had to go on top.
Have fun with your new toy!!!

What winch do you recomend that would fit between the chasis rails then?
I think Martin's is sat between them and he uses a Champion with brake in the drum I believe!?! Is this right Martin?
You're best bet is to look at the spec of a winch before you buy it. An 8274 is a bit of a different animal to most others and the mounts are on the front rather than having "feet" mounts which are obviously underneath.
I think most makes where the brake is in the drum will fit.
Mine is mounted on top of the chassis rails for this reason but this means it has to stick out further, which in turn effects my approach angle a little.
Your bumper may be made like mine allowing you to do as I have putting it above.
