I'm almost embarrassed to post this in the company of hardcore off-roaders, but here are some pictures from a very enjoyable "off the tarmac" experience I had the other day.
Yes, there was an Astra and even a Triumph Stag on the trail, but I'm glad I was in a Jimny. The track is seven and a half miles long. It's just off the Duke's Pass in the Trossachs, near Aberfoyle. There's an honesty box where they ask for a mere two pounds donation. It's one way, with lots of stopping places. We particularly enjoyed it because my passenger has restricted mobility and doesn't get to experience the peace and beauty that those of us who can get into the middle of nowhere on foot or by bike perhaps take for granted.
