Gen 3: Replacement Seat & Seatbelt Anchor Bolts - what's the right size?

Hi all, I have my rear seats out at the moment getting the new boot fitted. It is a fresh OEM panel and crossmember so I was thinking I might as well replace the 18yo old bolts that are a bit cross-threaded and sad. I've done some searching but I'm still unsure on what the right size for a replacement is and indeed where is best to buy them.

Is there an OEM part number or anything like that to get original style ones?

This thread ( www.bigjimny.com/index.php/forum/6-jimny...elt-anchor-bolt-size ) suggests 7/16-20 UNF, which I suppose is the thread spec. What's the right length?

Thanks

I'm fairly certain it's a metric thread (7/16-20 UNF is imperial) and I would suggest OEM bolts in a new OEM panel - seat belt fasteners don't take a standard bolt, it's done deliberately to "dissuade" folks from fitting a "weaker substitute".

If memory serves its M12x1.25 or metric fine. Can't remember length exactly but something like 40 or 45mm but don't quote me on the length.

They are 11mm x1.25 and the spares I have have a fully threaded length of 26mm but this length will vary as to the distance piece that keeps the belt end bracket away from carpet or trim.

Pretty sure it is 7/16 UNF, it is the same on most or all cars. Some could differ but suzuki don't.

Thanks for the replies all. Looking at my existing seatbelt anchor bolts - which I believe are stock (2005) - they have UNF written on the head so 7/16 UNF is mostly likely right. The seatbelt bolts don't say anything on them at all though so may be metric, hence the difference in answers(?).

Just found it odd given other aspects of the car are meticulously part numbered (e.g. every plastic trim clip) that there wasn't a bolt number.
