i ve been given a sport steering wheel from a vit 99 will this fit my 2000 jimny or will i need to change the boss (its too cold to go out now and start taking apart especially with the airbags)any info would be helpful

not to sure, but i changed the wheel in my jimny for a 13" sports wheel, nobody listed a jimny hub adaptor, but i bought a sj one and it fits fine,
if your going to do it, theres a fuse in a yellow fuse holder next to the fuse box, take this out before you touch anything.
i took the complete airbag system out of my jimny, both steering wheel and passenger airbag, the control module infont of the gearstick and all the wiring for it,
it all came out fine, got it stored in a box, tried to sell them on ebay but nobody wanted them.

Adding to what garry said, I fitted a vit wheel to my SJ so looks promising!

yes, ive told my insurance about every modification, no matter how small its been.
my insurance is great, they had a chuckle at me when i phoned up to say i had cut the back end of my jimny and made a metal tray type thing for it, but they added it to my policy so im still fully comp.
