swivel seals was created by nick40
Hi Folks

Just about to replace my king pin bearings and swivel seals, got it all stripped down and the actual ball joint on the end of the axle is in a shocking state. If it was on my landy I would bolt some new ones on but they are non replaceable. Seems my only option is to clean them up with emery cloth and keep a thin covering of Marine grease on them in future.

Anyone got any thoughts or advice.

Thanks Nick

You can also skim filler in them and sand smooth. They do not fulfill the same function as they do on land rovers ( tight oil seal for oil filled joint) so you can be more relaxed about them
