Can anyone point me in the right direction for an uprated clutch kit for an M series engine which is not a paddle.

I have searched here and seen suggestions of Blue Print, QH, LuK, Exedy etc but suspect these are just OE spec replacements rather than uprated?

Anyone fitted a Borg & Beck kit?

As I plan on fitting an M16A engine I want something capable of handling the increase.

Is there any similarities / compatability between Jimny and Swift / Ignis clutches?

Which one have you got? Is it progressive or on/off?

dont fuck about get a real clutch from the start 3 stage paddle cost you £200-250 plus you dont want to have to change it againe as you have to lift eng up 4" to get gear box off and out i know just dont it to mine

I have an off road clutch supplied by my local motor shop its not a paddle clutch and is made by a company who make clutches for tractors. It was cheap too for an off road clutch about £120.
I was a little worried after ordering if it was genuine as it turned up in a plain white box but when it was compared to the original standard clutch it was heavier and had copper bits or something in the clutch itself.
I have the m16 fitted and have had no problem with the clutch.
If you would like the parts shop no pm me and I will find it out for you.
I,m sure postage wouldn't be expensive as jimny clutches Arnt that big or heavy.
