Hi done an RTV at weekend and was thinking my jimny had poor steering circle.
Anyone have any ideas of any mods that can improve it? Also anyone had problems
with CV joints needing my 4th in few months!! Are suzuki origonal parts only way to go?

wheels spacers or off-set wheels will give you more lock m8.

I guess there maybe some fancy maths behind it using Pi and radius and circumference etc. but basically you can improve the turning circle using wheel spacers or offset wheels, if nothing else it moves them out further so they dont hit the end stops so soon. It does work, my cat came fitted with posh Spidertrax spacers and it makes a noticeable improvement to the turning circle.

Downside is the extra strain on the axle components. The greater offset increases the wear forces on the wheel bearings etc.

I am interested in the number of CV joints you have got through as I am about to start trialling, is it harder on the vehicles than normal play and play? Or do you have a heavy right foot :)
