I use Google maps via Android Auto 99.9% of the time. For the 0.1% where I can't guarantee decent 4G/5G (which these days is pretty much just doing the NC500) I break out my 10 year old TomTom Go 5000, which is still receiving free map updates, has lifetime traffic and inbuilt SIM card. I don't subscribe to any camera updates though, as I drive slow.

I like the TomTom for the NC500 as it stores all the map data offline and the route planner lets you plan a precise route ahead of time using your PC, which then syncs to the device, avoiding Google trying to take you the quickest/shortest route.
