I accept absolutely no responsibility for any negative outcomes arising from trying anything like this. But it does make the point that a Jimny will Tow. Virtually.  Anything.

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.

But they won't shift a nearly empty calf creep feeder on a wet, slippery marsh!

The power to weight ratio of the ant dragging the wasp is more impressive.

Yep , that looks about the same max speed as when I tow my caravan. Just shows it will tow anything slowly
Just needs a few more ants under the bonnet.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

A Defender on exactly the same tyres (BFG KM2s) moves it no problem, simply because it's heavier.
Weight is the Jimny's big handicap when towing, which is easily forgivable given all the advantages that come of having a lighter vehicle.

hahaha  I had that same problem as well with dragging my caravan. It also made a load of noise whilst everything overtook me..

Kevin Fast pulled a Jumbo Jet weighing 416,299lbs a distance of 8.8metres.

No mention of what tyres he was using.
