Hi Everyone,
Reaching out for advice. I’ve fitted new wheels, tyres and TPMS sensors on my Jimny MK4 LCV. Everything worked fine for a 10 mile test run on Wednesday. Used it today and after 5 miles the dash display went Orange and TPMS Service is displaying. I had hoped the sensors would auto learn and connect to the ECU. Is there a way to reset everything without a special tool or a trip to the dealer?
Cheers
Paul

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.
ADOS Attention Deficit Ooooh Shiny!
What sort of distance did you cover after the warning? I have heard that it can take a significant distance and time potentially for them to learn each other. That said Martin is better placed for information as he has done more including a diagnostic with a reader.

Thanks for the reply, about 12 miles after the alert with a stop for 2 hours after 3. I’ve looked online and read a Martin post about a TPMS reset tool. My sensors were from Ebay, 433 MHz for Suzuki and look identical to those on the JimnyStyle site, which advises they should auto learn. I’m going to try a longer run today.

Customised winch bumper and roll cage
235/85R16 Maxxis Bighorns on 16" Rims, 4:1 Rocklobster, Rear ARB locker and on-board air
Corrected arms all-round, rear disks, Recaro seats and harnesses
Switch off the car for two hours and then drive at a steady speed for at least 10 minutes. During the first 10 minutes you really must try and keep the speed up.
It can take forever to learn
