Orange Warning Light-"OIL" with Spanner

More

The above warning light made me jump yesterday when it lit up as I drove along.
I'm just short of 5,000 miles and one year's ownership of my Gen 4 Jimny.
I knew ,as it was orange, that it was a warning light but stopped fairly soon as I thought it meant low oil level. Normal oil level, so I RTFM.
Service due reminder, phew!

Today, the square shape of the Jimny led to me being caught out. Driving off the grass at a parking spot, the car ground to a halt. I was trying to drive over a very large rock which the front wing obscured from view and I hadn't noticed when I got in the car. No damage done as it was only the offside front tyre trying to mount the rock and the approach angle is excellent. I must remember to do a recce on foot, even in the car park.
