Hi guys, need some new tyres. Ideally want something in between a mud terrain and an all terrain... in size 215/75R15 / 205/70R15. ANY recommendations? What do you run? Thanks in advance!! L

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.
ADOS Attention Deficit Ooooh Shiny!
Maxxis worm drive see to be one of the better aggressive all terrain options.

Hankook Dynapro MT RT03
Even though this is classed as a mud tyre
I would call it a more aggressive all-terrain

There are some 'hybrid' style tyres these days. But not many on the UK market, mostly the USA. And then in larger sizes.
There are milder Mud Terrain patterns and more aggressive AT's too. I suspect these are more the things to be looking at.
On my Jimny, I have the Maxxis Wormdrive AT's. I did really fancy getting the BFG KM3 Mud Terrains. But pre lock down I was doing quite a lot of commuting miles. So I opted for the AT. The Wormdrives are what I'd call an aggressive AT. I suspect the BFG Ko2 AT would be very similar, just more money to buy.
On road I have zero complaints with the Wormdrives. They largely handle and are as refined as the stock Bridgestones were. Although the Wormdrives are fatter and heavier and have blunted acceleration and dropped mpg. But I think any AT or MT would result in the same.
Off road I've also been super impressed with them. They have gone way better than I thought they would. Even in wet grassy mud. I think the TCS of the Jimny helps out a lot here too. But I was genuinely surprised at how capable they seemed to be.
If you do want something more off road biased. Then the BFG Km3 is likely very acceptable all round.
What do you want to do with the vehicle?Lukeparky333 wrote: Hi guys, need some new tyres. Ideally want something in between a mud terrain and an all terrain... in size 215/75R15 / 205/70R15. ANY recommendations? What do you run? Thanks in advance!! L
