Although i've owned my Jimny for 2years,it rarely goes in a field, nevermind offroading..However, l would like to spend a day offroading in a Jimny..So my question is,are there any 4x4 experience set-ups that use Jimnys or do they all use Land Rovers?l'm based in Nottingham but could travel.. (within reason)..Thanks for any replies.

You can search for pay and play site near you, most of them have a green/beginner route and there will be plenty of help if you do get stuck ;)

There used to be two that used Jimnys.

The first was somewhere around Grizedale area and used the forestry commission tracks. The second was Liverpool way and was a farm based venture. I am pretty sure neither are operating now, I recall the farm based on selling off their Jimnys.

Colin Appleyard has an annual dealership day where they will take you off road in their Suzukis, plus you can take your own off road as well if you like. I have been to this site a couple of times with the Suzuki dealer and also with the big Jimny forum a few years ago. My Jimny was standard and it performed remarkably well...:-)
