Hi all!
Mrs Daytona decided she wanted a small car that was easy to see out of, easy to drive, had a "cute" factor but wouldn't feel overshadowed by other traffic. Coupled with roads flooding regularly she suggested a Jimny and the local dealer had a "51" plate automatic in black with 40K on the clock. Quick test drive and we were hooked.....
Came in handy in the recent floods (South Cumbria) and the snow when we headed off round Coniston and Grizedale. Lovely to drive!

I can only imagine what a modded one can do after seeing how a standard one on road biased tyres has been able to shrug off the conditions over the last few weeks!
Do fancy a spot of gentle green laning though, must do some research although any suggestions for easier routes in the South Cumbria area gratefully accepted.

Welcome to Jimny ownership.

You could put some All terrain tyres on and these will inspire a bit more confidence when off road but won't harm the road manners. Perfect for a bit of laning.

Mine has General Grabber all terrains and i'm massively impressed with them on all counts.
