Hello guys was just wondering if anyone had managed to swap their petrol engine for a diesel one and what engine they used and gearbox etc also how difficult the swap is to do and if its worth the time effort and costs? Im thinking about frinding a swift diesel possibly and using that engine as my current gearbox may fit straight onto it as the jimny engine is the same as the swift petrol one? Any feedback would be great thanks

The KAP adapter kit is not actually their kit as far as I am aware... It was developed by Milners for a friend of theirs... and KAP bought some kits as far as I know... This was told to me by Andy @ Milners...

Nothing against KAP... Just means it's probably a very good kit as it's been developed by Milners! :)

We can also supply these Milner kits no problem at all.

Awesome Rob and the engine mounts as well ? what would be your price for the whole kit and of course your extensive knowledge on it?

Honestly I don't have a clue about the kit... Diesel is not my cup'o tea so we'll not be doing any conversions...

Was just simply saying that the Milner kits are easily available from a number of suppliers.... Don't have a price.

The Milner kit includes an adapter plate & newly manufactured flywheel and you install the Jimm ring gear.
