and just if anyone was wondering what i did with the deer after it was shot , it all get cut up into steaks, mince, joints and burgers all in house, nothing goes to waist.
Wooww. VERY impressive. Nicely done !! Those burgers look tastey.
Ever thought of puttin the mince into sausages..?

We were up in Scotland 2 weks ago by Lochnagar and saw two big (25+) groups of young stags feeding, you would have loved it by the looks of it.

Oh yea just remembered I go shooting too!
Lol! That venison has made me hungry!!! mmmm
When I was in OZ near a place called TOOKLEY(i think). We went Roo Shooting!
We stood on the back of a Ute with a huge night light and this Roo was about 200yrds away and the farmer took it with a single shot on the move from the passenger window! Straight into his head!!!
I only have a 12ftlb air rifle with scope and silencer! Only rabbits and 1 Pheasant (lucky head shot)

Used to do a lot of shooting back when I lived in South West Scotland. Still have plenty of permission down there (even have the proper forms!) but its an expensive journey at the moment.
Love that bar for hanging the deer carcass on. Was it a home-made job? Anything that keeps the process cleaner is a good idea in my book.
With regards to rabbits in Scotland its bad news. RVHD is spreading fast through the country and SNH reckons at the current rate we'll lose 92% of the rabbit population. It is not very well publicised in order to discourage Farmer Palmer from "relocating" rabbits...

A very keen gunsman then ! Any verdict on Pump action shotguns? I have a Beretta A302 (semi) and would like a bit more of an interaction with a gun. So I'm looking into a pump action. Preferably Mossberg.
What would you say?

we got him it to slow him down on the second shot i worked well but grew out of it at 13 yrs ..i had never any trouble with it well made ,balanced for a pump was good, action was a bit rattley but hey through a great pattern with a 3in shell
i always shot a the semi auto however was going to cryprus to shoot clays and was not allowed to bring semi auto in to there, so 3 months before we went had to get the 682 to bring over (didnt do my scores any good ) love the semi auto have it 25 yrs now sad to say only cleaned when needs it and hand painted camo on it  but owes me nothing

I would love the time to start shooting, i've got a few friends that shoot, unfortunately that annoying thing called work gets in the way of it.
This also explains the roof addition is all about too, i always wondered when i've seen it in pics.
Lukey i must have asked before but where abouts are you in Cambridgeshire?
