Welcome to the event!

You are, of course, not the only Jimny going to the event from Reading area because WE (BigJimny) are going.

Also watch out for us in the area and give us a wave. James works in Wargrave and commutes through Twyford daily and we are in and out of Twyford all the time

So watch out for a blue lifted Gen4 every day, a black Gen4 typically at weekends, a white Gen4 (high days and holidays!), a black gen3 lifted and modified Gen3 and a very shiny SJ413 when the sun is shining.

Mrs S has, I think, seen the blue one on her commute, to and from Nirvana.

Look forward to catching up!

Hey, was anyone joining the Big Jimny Meet the day before from the south like Surrey and camping at the site the night before?

You may get a better reply in the WhatsApp group but nearly half of the 90 Jimnys are staying at the site or at the hotel opposite on the Saturday night so there will be plenty of people around. We are travelling up from
Berkshire on the Saturday. There are several others around the south also travelling up on the Saturday so it’s possible we may cross paths with other jimnys on the road.

I'm signed up.

The question is do I have the time to fit a lift kit before the event?

Hi - i know tomorrow is the last day to register, but we have failed the MOT in our Jimny.
We hope to have it up and running by the 14th, but if we don't, can we come in an alternative Jimny?

Cheers

Hoping I can still make it. Recently I had an accident and my knee collapsed resulting in a severed tendon and broken knee cap.

I’ve had surgery but my leg is in a brace currently and I can’t drive. Can’t even sit in a car seat at the moment due to keeping my leg straight. But hoping I’ll be in better state when the brace gets adjusted next week. But I’ll have to wait and see if I’ll be fit enough to passenger for the event.

Really hoping not to miss this as I’ve just missed out on a weeks laning trip to Wales and missed competing at the Land Rover National (where the accident happened).
