There are rules that suppliers have to follow (and many of you do follow the rules). However there have been a number of instances recently where "suppliers" have broken the rules.

Suppliers/Dealers or anyone selling with a commercial view in mind CANNOT post here unless responding to a specific request of a member in a "wanted" post.

Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum

l agree, Defender prices have peaked and will likely begin to fall as the current rush to own one subsides.
There's no shortage of them and they take dedication to own.
You need to be able/happy to work on them
yourself otherwise you'll spend a fortune at your local garage.
Also
Land Rover have increased parts prices in some cases tenfold.

l sold our 2005 Defender for £17,000 in August
lt had done over 100,000 miles.

l suppose having a Defender AND a Jimny is the best of both worlds!!
